Transportation Table

The Leading Transportation Forum in the Nation's Capital

Summer, 2008

Our Calendar of Events

is suspended until September.

The Transportation Table has no luncheons scheduled for the months of July and August. As we do every summer, we are leaving town by plane, train, truck or barge. We look forward to seeing everyone in September.

TRANSPORTATION TABLE luncheons are normally held on the fourth Fridays of each month, holidays excepted, at the National Press Club, 14th and F Streets NW, top floor. Buy your ticket ($32) at the front reception desk.

The luncheon starts at 12:30 but come a little early to shake some hands. The meeting is at 1:00 and it is over promptly at 2:00, or before, depending on when the questions run out. Speakers have 15-minutes and then we open the meeting to audience questions, press conference style.

As you may know, the TRANSPORTATION TABLE is strictly non-profit and we count on your support to help meet our mailing, clerical, and other expenses. The contribution or "dues" is $15. Please make your check to the TRANSPORTATION TABLE for $15 and mail it to India Jackson c/o Transportation Table, 1270 National Press Building, Washington, D.C. 20045.

FOR RESERVATIONS
Call our TRANSPORTATION TABLE voice mail at (202) 355-1141, and leave your name for the luncheon that you plan to attend. Make your reservation early, at least by the Wednesday before the event. We also want to remind those who make reservations if you cannot make it, please give us the courtesy of a call to cancel. The National Press Club charges the TRANSPORTATION TABLE for unfilled reservations.

Remember, we welcome your speaker suggestions.
Call Paul Page, editor of Traffic World at (202) 355-1170 or William Cassidy, executive editor of Traffic World at (202) 355-1152.
